NON-STEROIDAL, ANTI-INFLAMMATORY, ANALGESIC AND ANTIPYRETIC PROPERTIES -Cattle: + Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic treatment of respiratory infections, mammary gland oedema and supportive treatment of acute clinical mastitis in combination with appropriate antibiotic treatment, if necessary + Anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic treatment of musculoskeletal diseases (e.g. supportive treatment of postpartum paresis, lameness, arthritis - supportive treatment, traumatic injuries, dystocia) -Horses: + Anti-inflammatory and analgesic treatment of aminitis, myositis, inflammation after surgery. + Symptomatic treatment of colic. Symptomatic treatment of fever.

Ketoprofen…………………………10 g

Excipient (distilled water) qs…..100 ml

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

For deep intramuscular injection once daily for up to 3 to 5 days.

-Cattle: 3 ml/ 100 kg of body weight

-Horses: 1 ml/ 45 kg of body weight

since the last injection

For meat: 4 days

CONTRAINDICATION:

Do not administer to horses, cattle that have previously shown a hypersensitivity to ketoprofen.

Do not administer other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) concurrently or within 24 hours of each other.

Use is contraindicated in animals suffering from cardiac, hepatic, or renal disease, where there is the possibility of gastrointestinal ulceration or bleeding, and where there is evidence of a blood dyscrasia or hypersensitivity to the product.
