TREATMENT OF RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS - PRIMARY KETOSIS IN DAIRY COWS Supportive treatment in ketosis, rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis inflammatory and allergic conditions in large and small animals.

Prednisolone acetate 10 mg

Excipients (distilled water) qs  1 ml

Actual volume: 100 ml and 25 ml

 

• Bovine ketosis: 100 to 200 mg according to the intensity of ketosuria and the weight of the animal.
• Horses, cattle: In cases of rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory joint conditions involving ligaments, and in bursitis, 40 to 80 mg of prednisolone should be injected by the intramuscular route. Dose may be repeated at 48 and 96 hours, if required
• Dogs: 10 to 30 mg by intramuscular route.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

For meat: 8 days.

For milk: 24 hours.
