Indications
T – F – A is a non steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID), antipyretic and analgesic agent indicated:
As an aid in the control of acute inflammation associated with bacterial respiratory disease.
As an adjunct in the treatment of metritis, mastitis, agalactia syndrome (MMA).
Active Ingredients
Tolfenamid acid
Dosage
– In calves, sheep, goats, camel: 1 ml/ 20 kg body weight, as a single intramuscular injection.
– In cattle:
- For use in bovine mastitis: 1 ml/ 10 kg body weight, as a single IV injection.
- For use in bovine respiratory disease: 1 ml/ 20 kg body weight, by IV or SC injection. Treatment may be repeated once after 48 hours.
Precautions
Withdrawal period:
- For meat: 4 days.
- For milk: 24 hours.
Storage
Store in shade and dry place, temperature below 30oC
